Why Umai Ramen!?

Umai Ramen pops up on the now known Asian Corner of Leidsche Rijn Centrum. You walk in and see a classic decorated space, when the savoury smell of the ramen broth from the kitchen hits you. As you order a portion of takoyaki and a bowl of Tonkotsu Ramen, their specialty, you notice the pot of savoury pork broth from which the pleasant fragrance originated. Mouthwatering..!

You can’t help but notice the abundance of fresh ingredients used to make these dishes. They make an excellent combination, inspired by the way of enjoying ramen in Kyushu, Japan.

Empty bowl and plate in front of you, you exclaim “Umai”! (“Delicious!”)
